Now that the frost is behind us we will be removing the reserve canes that we left behind during pruning. The vines are in full swing and a spare cane will only drain vital resources, so it’s important to take away the reserve canes to ensure the vines have the very best chance of success. These sessions start at 8.45am and finish about 1pm for lunch. There’s no workshop for this job in the vineyard as it is simple and relaxing.
