Shoot management is the moment we select the shoots that will go on to bear fruit. Selecting the healthiest shoots that sit in the best positions on the vine, we can ensure we get the very best quality grapes. This is a hugely important time in the vineyard as it sets us up for the rest of the year and is the final bit of training we will do before leaving the vines to take shape. These sessions start at 8.45am and finish about 1pm for lunch. There’s no workshop for this job in the vineyard as it is simple and relaxing.
