The Year Ahead

With all the grapes pressed, fermented, and the wines now settling in tanks in the winery, we are looking forward to 2019 and starting to make plans for the most exciting year yet at Dunesforde. This year will see the release of our first still wines, we will be blending and bottling our sparkling wines, we will be expanding our website to make our wines available direct to you, and we have a few other exciting collaborations and developments still in the pipeline.

Launching our first wines will be an incredibly special moment. It will be a celebration of all the hard work put in by so many people over the last three years. We plan to launch the wines in May, keep an eye on our newsletter and social media to stay up to date with when you will be able to get your hands on the wines - we have very limited quantities this year and once they are gone, they are gone. English Sparkling Wine has come a long way over the last few decades, and now the best of them rival the best sparkling wines from around the World. We are incredibly excited about our sparkling wines, which we will be blending and bottle-fermenting this year, following the traditional method. While making sparkling wine this way means it takes a lot longer that it would if we made a Pet Nat or Prosecco style sparkling wine, we believe it creates a better wine that will be well worth the wait.

Alongside the launch of our wines, we will also be expanding our website to include information on volunteering at Dunesforde, an introduction to the team behind the wines, and an online shop where you can buy our wines as well as other products.
